Was charged more almost double the hours and material described in the TSB. Was told my leaky window was fixed and tested SAT. First rain two days after the fix window was still leaking. This is not the first time I have had repairs done and needed to return vehicle due to the repair not being done properly or just issue was missed all together. I do understand charges can be more than the TSB guidance but it’s frustrating when charged double and state things are fixed and tested SAT. Yet the issue still exist. I purchased my vehicle from this dealer and it’s been frustrating to say the least when I’ve had to bring it in multiple time for things that were said to be fixed the first time. Also told parts are recommended for replacement when the dealership just did the maintenance recently

I have been a very satisfied customer of Winegardner GMC of Prince Frederick, MD for close to 15 years. I have leased two 1500 Sierra's and purchased my current and favorite, 2017 1500 Sierra. The service department at Winegardner GMC is always top notch from the service department to the skilled mechanics that take care of the regular maintenance plus any and all repairs that are occasionally necessary. My Sierra is almost 10 years old and I have only had to do regular maintenance with a few very small repairs such as wheel sensors that could probably be considered regular maintenance. THANK YOU WINEGARDNER GMC of Prince Frederick, MD for being there to give us the best customer service ever. You are the only car dealership that my husband and I need.

i HAD A CK ENGINE LIGHT ON SO I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE SOMETHING SERIOUS. HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN SCANNED MY VEHICLE AND SAID THEY JUST HAVE TO REPLACE THE NOX SENSOR BUT THE PART WAS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER. HE ASSURED ME THAT THE VEHICLE IS STILL SAFE TO DRIVE WHILE WE'RE WAITING FOR PARTS.

I was overall pleased with the service I received however I didn't realize it till after I had left. I had provided the service technician a mailer I received from Winegardner for $10 off my oil change, but it was not taken off my total bill. If you don't add them into your services then don't send out the mailers.

I called on Wednesday to talk to service about a check engine light, but the receptionist would not put me through to service even though I indicated that I needed to talk to a service advisor. I explained that I was afraid that there would not be enough time to get the parts needed before my vacation coming up. Nonetheless, she made me an appointment for Friday. Because I was not really satisfied with the Friday appointment, I decided to drive to service and talk to a service advisor. When I arrived, I talked to Jason and explained the situation. He knew about the check engine light condition and agreed that there would not be enough time to get the parts and fix it before my vacation. Because of Jason's proactive customer service, I am happy to report that my car was fixed on Thursday, before the appointment scheduled for Friday. My heartfelt thanks to Jason.

After coming in for a routine oil change and tire rotation, my vehicle’s fan started running at high speed, resulting me and having to take the vehicle back to the dealership. After their inspection, they said that the thermostat failed. It surprises me that I’ve never had an issue and it wasn’t noticed on their multi-point inspection during the oil change. It seems like every time I come in for routine maintenance, there’s a new part that needs to be replaced for no less than $600. With the understanding that parts on a vehicle break and need to be replaced, it’s just frustrating that it’s immediately after I had just had my vehicle there for service.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused you, however when you came in for an oil change we always do a pre-scan of the vehicle and there we no codes indicating there was any potential thermostat failure and with a thermostat being a mechanical part, failure cannot be predicted and that is also why there was nothing about a thermostat on a multi point inspection.

My car said I my tire pressure monitor was not working. I called my dealer and even though they usually are booked at least for a full week ahead, they told me to come right away, and they would fit me in. There were other things the car needed some I knew of and others I suspected. The dealer correctly told me what additional things needed attention. I agreed to get a new battery for my key, a new car battery - the car is over six years old, so I suspected that the battery needed changing. I said that in another thousand miles I was scheduled to have my periodic maintenance and could they add that it. They agreed and after a short while, my car was all done. They could not duplicate my roof leak, which is perfectly acceptable, but they scratched my roof with the hoses they used to troubleshoot. They also somehow scratched the inside of my windshield I’m guessing from taking down the headliner.

On Friday the 19th of December and looked at at the vehicle and was approached by a guy name Larry Wood , when I asked him about the price he said it was 87 thousand and I said no the internet price said 81 thousand , he said no that’s how much it is and it has no incentives then I said it said it you were first responders or military you get 5 hundred dollars off for that it said it on line he said well you can only use one . But that wasn’t the point. We just felt he was not going to help us and out to get more money from us or maybe it was how we were dressed , just in jeans and t-shirts. That night I went on line to start the buying process, the next morning a lady from Winegardner called me her name was Linda Vick and let me say this about her, she had a calming voice I expected what happened the day before and she apologized for the day before and just said “ if you want, you can come back and talk to me and let’s see what we can do “ I was convinced she would help us get that vehicle and not try to get money from us, just by her voice . When we got there I asked for her and she walked over and introduced herself to us and asked us what we were looking for “ to see if it was a fit for us “ just WOW I was never asked that by any sales person before from buying eight new vehicles from different places. So I told her again what happened and again she apologized for our experience the day before. We told her what we wanted and in her calming voice said it was still there and would we like to take it for a test drive we said yes . After a short drive we came back, Linda was with other customers but excused herself and walked over and asked how was the vehicle for us we asked if we could drive it home to go over numbers to make sure we could do it and she said absolutely. After coming home and looking the vehicle over and talking about everything we went back to the dealership about eight miles. When we got back and started talking we Linda again she made the deal work for us because Linda explained all the numbers and kept going back to the manager to get us the best payment we could. The experience with Linda Vick was AMAZING I will be sending anyone that I talk to that wants a new vehicle to her … Thank You so Much Linda Vick !!! It was so Wonderful to have ment Linda . I can’t say enough great words about her . “ it’s all about how you talk to people that matters …”
